Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the DanyMac website and the provision of IT support, technology services and related products.

1. About DanyMac

DanyMac IT Services provides professional technology support and IT solutions to individuals, businesses and organisations. Services may include remote support, onsite support, computer and laptop services, networking, cybersecurity, cloud services, data and backup assistance, IT consulting and related technology solutions.

2. Acceptance of these Terms

By using this website, submitting a service request, booking a support appointment, purchasing a product or otherwise engaging DanyMac for services, you acknowledge that you have read and accepted these Terms & Conditions.

3. IT Support Services

DanyMac will make reasonable professional efforts to diagnose and resolve reported IT problems. The time and outcome required to resolve a problem may depend on the condition of the device, network, software, infrastructure, third-party systems and other circumstances outside DanyMac's control.

4. Remote Support

Remote support may require the customer to provide access to a computer, device, network or software. Customers are responsible for authorising access and providing accurate information needed to perform the requested service.

5. Onsite Support

Onsite support is subject to availability and the customer's location. A call-out or service fee may apply. An onsite attendance or call-out fee covers professional attendance and troubleshooting and does not guarantee that every fault will be completely resolved during the initial visit.

6. Urgent and After-Hours Support

Urgent, same-day, emergency and after-hours support may attract additional charges. Applicable fees will be communicated to the customer before work begins where reasonably possible.

7. Quotes and Additional Work

Where a service requires work beyond the original request, DanyMac may provide an additional quotation or obtain customer approval before proceeding. Additional charges may apply for replacement hardware, software licences, third-party services, vendor support, specialised recovery work or additional engineering time.

8. Customer Responsibilities

Customers must provide accurate information, appropriate access to equipment and systems, and any necessary passwords or authorisation required to perform the requested service. Customers should maintain appropriate backups of important data.

9. Data and Backups

Customers are responsible for maintaining backups of important information unless a backup service has specifically been agreed with DanyMac. While reasonable care will be taken during support and repair work, DanyMac cannot guarantee against data loss caused by hardware failure, software failure, corruption, malware, user actions or circumstances outside its reasonable control.

10. Third-Party Products and Services

Some services may depend on third-party manufacturers, software providers, cloud platforms, internet service providers or other vendors. DanyMac is not responsible for outages, licensing restrictions, vendor decisions or failures originating from third parties.

11. Payments

Customers are responsible for paying applicable service, call-out, product and other agreed charges. Prices and payment requirements will be communicated through the relevant booking, quotation, invoice or purchase process.

12. IT Shop Purchases

Products purchased through the DanyMac IT Shop are subject to the applicable product, return, refund and warranty terms. Product availability, pricing and specifications may change.

13. Limitation of Liability

DanyMac will provide services with reasonable professional care. Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit any right or protection that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under applicable South African law.

14. Intellectual Property

Website content, branding, graphics, text and other materials belonging to DanyMac may not be copied, reproduced or commercially reused without appropriate permission.

15. Privacy

Personal information submitted through the website may be processed for purposes such as responding to enquiries, providing services, managing customer accounts, processing bookings and communicating with customers. Please refer to the DanyMac Privacy Policy for further information.

16. Changes to These Terms

DanyMac may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version published on this website will apply to future use of the website and future services, subject to applicable law.
